THE COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC SECONDARY SCHOOLS AWARDS EHS CONTINUED ACCREDITATION

In 2018, the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) visited our school December 2nd through December 5th to review our accreditation status.  I am pleased to report that the Committee on Public Secondary Schools, at its June 23, 2019 meeting, reviewed the evaluation report and voted to award Enfield High School continued accreditation in the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. The report must be released to the public within 60 days of receipt (June 25, 2019).

The Committee on Public Secondary Schools congratulated the school administration and faculty for completing the first two phases of the accreditation program: the self-study and the evaluation visit.  The next step will be the follow-up process during which the school will implement valid recommendations in the evaluation report.  Our school team looks forward to reviewing these findings with the follow-up committee and our stakeholders.
