Regarding the impeding snow storm below are a few possibilities:

  1. If  there is no school tomorrow, the quarter will move forward one day.
  2. If there is no school on Wednesday, we simply move Tuesday’s period 7 exam and makeup to Wednesday.
  3. If there is a delay on Wednesday, we will start period 7 exam at 9:20 and end at 11:30.  Students will be dismissed at 11:30.
  4. If there is no school on Wednesday, we will move the Period 7 exam and make up  to Thursday.  Students will be dismissed at 9:40.

Breakfast and lunch items will be available for all students to purchase in the cafeteria during the break.  Any students who receive free and reduced lunch will have a lunch meal available during the break period.  Students are still asked to keep all food in the cafeteria during the break time.

Student Drop-Off Procedures

With student safety in mind, I am initiating a new morning student drop-off procedure. Due to the construction project, an increase in student drop-offs, and limited parking space, I feel this is an appropriate decision for our student’s safety. Cars will come down the hill as usual, following the same traffic pattern as the buses. This route will keep cars in the outer perimeter of the parking lot, circling around the parking spaces and ending up by the main office. Students can be dropped off in the front of the main office, then proceed out of the parking lot as usual. If there is a bus in front of you, please wait for all students to exit that bus. Do not go around any bus with drop off lights activated. The only cars that will be allowed in the parking aisles will be students and visitors who are parking.

We will initiate this change the first day of the second semester, which is Wednesday, January 28. You will notice more teaching staff, administrators, our School Resource Officer, and our School Security Officer out in the parking lot to help direct traffic. Your patience is greatly appreciated as we move through this process.

Finally, as a reminder, we have midterms on Thursday, Friday, Monday, and Tuesday. Students will be dismissed at 12:20 pm on Thursday, Friday and Monday. Students will be dismissed at 9:40 on Tuesday.
