Hello Enfield High School students and families.

I wanted to inform you of some changes that have been made over the summer due to the construction project. We have a brand new front parking lot which includes a new bus loop, student parking, and parent drop off and pickup. The parking area and bus loop looks very similar to the old lot, but we have lost some considerable space. Students will still be able to park in the front lot. During the first week of school, students will need to purchase a parking pass at their proper Assistant Principal’s office. Only students with parking passes will be able to park in this space. This space will also be used for visitors and for handicapped parking.

In the mornings, the loop for both bus drop-offs and parent drop-offs will be exactly the same as in previous years. All busses and cars will come down the hill and drive a full circle around the parking lot in a counter clockwise direction. Students need to be dropped off directly in front of the main office area. Please do not drive through the student parking, creating an unsafe situation for our students.

In the afternoons, our busses will be looped around the parking lot as in previous years. Cars are not allowed to drive near these busses. Due to the limited space, I am asking that parents pick their children up after the busses have left. I would strongly suggest not coming to EHS to pick up your child until at least 2:15 when the busses have left. This would be a huge help to get our busses out of the bus loop in a timely and safe manner.

Thank you for your continued patience during this time. It is greatly appreciated. I look forward to seeing all of our students on Thursday.
