Geometry
Geometry is a subset of the study of mathematics. The word geometry comes from the Greek terms geo, meaning earth, and metron, meaning measure. Consequently, the roots of geometry originate from the work of Greek mathematicians. The most famous of all was Euclid. Euclid has been called the “father” of geometry, and chances are the geometry you've studied before was probably Euclidean geometry.
