Upcoming Events!


JUNIOR PARENT NIGHT: On Thursday, April 8th, EHS School Counselors hosted a virtual event for the parents of Juniors. The purpose of this event was to provide information and resources concerning the post-secondary planning process for current juniors/rising seniors. Topics covered included various post-secondary planning options (college, military, trade schools, gap year, etc.), and procedural requirements for the application process. Seniors:   Please visit Naviance for a list of scholarship opportunities, located under the "Colleges" tab (upper right), "Scholarships & Money," & "Scholarship List." If you have any questions or concerns about the application process, please contact Ms. Monteforte from the Guidance Office ( 

If you'd like to attend virtual college interest meetings with school representatives, please review the list of upcoming schools and meetings by going through your Naviance into "Colleges," "Research Colleges," and "College Visits." By registering - although not required - you will receive an email notification as a reminder. You may access your meeting by clicking on the link below:


During these challenging times of school closures, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you & your families. We encourage you to continue to reach out and communicate with us, or your teachers, if you or your family are in need of any assistance.

For transcripts, scholarship information, or any other guidance-related assistance, please continue to reach out to either the guidance secretaries or your school counselor directly.

Finally, we would like to share with you the following resources, which have already been communicated to all EHS students & families by our principal, Ms. Clark:

1. We recognized that the current public health emergency is resulting in an increase of stress on families.

2. If you or your child are experiencing an immediate safety concern, call 911.

3. If you or your child are experiencing a behavioral or mental health crisis, call 211.

4. If you would like to accept support services, please contact the following: 

For children over 8 years of age, please call the Family Resource Center: (860) 253-5214

For children over 8 years of age, please call Youth and Family Services: (860) 253-5214.

5. If you would like to contact your child's counselor or social worker, please do so via their school email address.
